It feels like just yesterday EVs were a niche curiosity, and now they're a rapidly growing segment of the automotive world. But as we look ahead to the next ten years, what do you all foresee as the biggest game-changers and challenges for electric vehicles? 🤔

I've been thinking a lot about this, and here are a few areas that I believe will define the EV landscape by 2034:

Battery Tech & Charging Speeds: We've seen incredible progress, but do you think solid-state batteries will finally go mainstream, offering massive range and super-fast charging? Or will incremental improvements dominate? Imagine 500+ miles on a 10-minute charge! 🤯
Infrastructure Expansion: This is huge. Will public charging networks finally be as ubiquitous and reliable as gas stations? And what about grid stability – can our power grids handle millions more EVs? 🔌🌍 I'm particularly interested in seeing how V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) technology develops to support this.
Affordability & Mass Adoption: The price point is still a barrier for many. Will we see a true wave of affordable EVs (think sub-$25k before incentives) that makes them accessible to everyone? What role will government incentives play going forward? 💰👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
New Vehicle Segments: We're already seeing electric trucks and SUVs becoming popular. What other segments will be fully electrified? Vans? Heavy-duty transport? Flying cars? (Okay, maybe not flying cars by 2034, but you get the idea! 😉)
Sustainability & Supply Chain: As EV production ramps up, concerns about mineral extraction (lithium, cobalt, nickel) and battery recycling are growing. Will the next decade bring truly sustainable and ethical supply chains, along with efficient battery recycling programs? ♻️
